Hot Tubs & Saunas Built for Fairbanks Winters

When temperatures drop to -50°F, most hot tubs fail. Ours don't. We supply and install hot tubs, saunas, and swim spas specifically engineered for Interior Alaska's extreme climate — and we've been doing it since 1976.

Why Fairbanks Demands Better Equipment

🌡️

-50°F Winters

Fairbanks regularly hits -40°F to -50°F. Standard hot tubs freeze or can't maintain temperature. Full-foam Hot Spring® and Caldera® spas hold 104°F at those extremes.

❄️

Permafrost Pads

Installing on permafrost requires specific concrete pad techniques. We connect you with Fairbanks contractors who specialize in spa pad foundations on frozen ground.

Golden Valley Electric

GVE rates differ from ML&P. Our operating cost calculator uses Interior rates so your monthly estimate is accurate for Fairbanks — not an Anchorage approximation.

🚛

Interior Freight

We ship via freight carriers on the Parks or Richardson Highway. Delivery is typically scheduled within 2–4 weeks of order — we'll coordinate the whole thing.

Fairbanks Pro Tips

Running a Spa in Interior Alaska

Can I leave my hot tub running at -50°F?+
Yes — and you should. Never drain a hot tub in Fairbanks winter unless you do a full professional winterization with antifreeze. Running at "economy" mode (97°F) during extremely cold periods is far safer and less expensive than repairing freeze damage.
What does it cost to run a spa in Fairbanks?+
With a full-foam insulated Hot Spring® or Caldera® spa, expect $60–$110/month on Golden Valley Electric rates in January. Budget spas with poor insulation can cost $200+/month — insulation quality matters more in Interior Alaska than anywhere else.
Do I need a pad, or can I set it on gravel?+
A reinforced concrete pad (4" minimum, 6" preferred) is strongly recommended in Fairbanks. Frost heave on permafrost or compacted gravel can shift the spa and crack plumbing. We can connect you with local pad contractors.
How do you deliver to Fairbanks?+
We ship via established freight carriers up the Parks or Richardson Highway. Delivery is coordinated to your driveway. You'll need a forklift, trailer, or crane service to place the spa from the delivery truck — we can recommend local providers.
